Poll any group of male fat admirers, and chances are you’ll find a goodly percentage of ‘em remember comic books or strips from their youths that featured a woman or man gaining weight. Though it probably would've disconcerted some of the creators of these fantasies to realize it, many budding FAs seized on this imagery as a means of fueling their future visions of beauty - and still recall 'em fondly. This section, then, is a tribute to some of these cherished images: it doesn’t claim to be definitive, just some tributes to a few silly fantasies that resonated more deeply for some readers than the writer or artist intended.
