Hi my name is Julie Aka TWINKIE, and my fiances name is paul Aka POOH. We met online for the first time April 3rd 1998. I was in a BBW chatroom and he popped in . He only stayed a few minutes but his profile intrigued me so i imed him . We chatted that night for about 2 hrs . we put each other on our buddy list for future conversations. We started off as friends , not looking for a serious relationship since we were both going through a divorce at the time. The more we talked the more we began to realize that our feelings were growing into more then just a friendship. We began talking every night on the computer for hrs at a time , and soon the computer wasnt enough . We exchanged phone numbers , and we began conversing on aol as well as over the phone. I lived in florida , and he in Connecticut. I decided to pay him a visit in Ct. The week before i was supposed to visit him i was mugged and all my money was stolen so i had to delay my trip by a few weeks. We continued talking on the phone, and on the computer both anxious to finally meet one another. we talked so frequently, we had become to know each other pretty well. I nicknamed him pooh , because i like winnie the pooh, and he nicknamed me Twinkie because he said i was soft and sweet. I was finally able to visit him and i left june 18th on the bus from florida to connecticut. it took 32 hrs to arrive. Since his nickname was pooh, i found a cute little stuffed winnie the pooh that giggled and shook when you pressed his belly. The moment arrived and i stepped off the bus. When our eyes met i knew then that i would never leave his side. I handed him the winnie the pooh doll , and at the same time he handed me the exact same doll. we had connected in ways we never realized. Its now january 1999 and i am now living in connecticut with my pooh , and we are engaged to be married this yr . Dreams really do come true and Aol was our matchmaker.
