Susan & Terry

I had always knew what kind of man I was looking for in my life. At almost 34, I had resolved myself to the fact that I wouldn't find anyone who had all of the qualities I was looking for and someone who would love me for who I was and not reject me because of my size.

I met Terry through the Yahoo Classifieds. I had placed an ad before I met him and had met a lot of nice men, but it was still hard finding just the right guy. Each would have one quality but not another. I liked writing to men because it gave me an opportunity to get to know someone before they saw how I looked. With some guys it didn't matter, but with some it did.

I responded to Terry's ad not long after he placed it. Almost immediately, we started finding out just how much we had in common. We wrote for a while, then moved to the phone (you should have seen our first phone bills) then we met face to face. Terry had such a gentle way with him. I found all of the qualities in him that I had always been looking for!

We are now engaged to be married! If I had searched the world over, I don't think I could have found anyone more perfect for me. We enjoy being with each other and have fun together. I feel like I'm marrying my best friend.

I know if it could happen to me, then it can happen for anyone!
