    The Metric System vs. us; whose side are you on?

    For scientific work, there is no substitute for SI (metric) units. E=mc2 only works in SI. Convert it to the units that the USA still uses, and the formula has to be changed to E=kmc2 with k a constant that has to be chosen so the other numbers come out right. I like to think of the old units...
