Beneful is crap. Poor girl. Did the vet do bloodwork? Could be she has a hard time metabolizing her food. Try a product like Prozyme to help her utilize the nutrients better. Bassets can be tough dogs. I'm betting they didn't even give her Beneful most of the time, but whatever scraps were left...- Rualass
