    downside of feeling fat

As a person who's had more than their fair share of bad days, I can definitely sympathize. I found it sometimes helps to indulge in something that you enjoy doing to draw your mind off the negative things and get in a more enjoyable mood. Go to a movie with friends, blow off some steam on an...

BBW dating site popularity is 3.81%, 8th according to CupidsReview.

Sex dating is the most popular? Well I never! And we being such a good Christian country and all! But seriously, STD dating? Well, I guess I understand; there's a site for pretty much everything, and things like having herpes or gonhorrea pretty much makes the dating scene a tough go. Most...

A plus sized Chinese singing group!

I really got a good kick out of this story. Given all the negativity and prejudice directed against these girls their whole lives, it's nice to read about them turning the whole thing on its head and coming out with a message of positivity. And cute Asian BBWs? There's two of my favorite...

    FAs and OCD: connection?

I'm sure if you looked at pretty much any demographic, you'd find many instances of all sorts of behavior, including ADHD and OCD, which are pretty common. Personally, I'm quite comfortable with my ADD. I've managed to fine-tune my attention span to be able to almost mentally block out...

    Fat joke come backs

I'm not really that fat, but I do like a good comeback: "Congratulations on your ability to state the perfectly obvious. Any other ways you'd like to prove you're a moron?" Not sure how good this is, but I just thought it up and I refuse to let it go to waste.

    Your Yearly Dementia Test

No problem. The tests are fun, but it was embarrassing getting some of those questions wrong. Q: How do you put a giraffe in a refrigerator? A: Open the door, put it in, and close the door! I spent five minutes trying to figure out that one and still got it wrong. I figured...

    Your Yearly Dementia Test

http://www.pressanykey.com/cgi-bin/funstuffmenu.cgi?target=Densa+Quiz Here's a few more in the same vein. It's fun to do them with friends, because then you can laugh at them for getting the wrong answers on absolutely obvious answers! And they can laugh at you! It's good times all around!

    Weird Cartoons

As a fellow retro junkie, I had to rep you for putting up this link. It's fun watching all the old commercials for "revolutionary" products that kinda fizzled out. And watching the intros to old cartoons I liked as a kid almost brought on a nostalgia attack. As for weird cartoons, I have a...

    True Crime and Unsolved Mysteries

Okay, first off, no one here is weird. If you think about it, if no one was interested in murders and serial killers, why do we have all these true crime shows and things like the Zodiac movie coming out? If anything, we're just the people with the guts to admit these things are interesting...

    Please read this thread.

Although I'm just repeating what's already been said, I'm sorry to hear about your loss and I hope that Tiberius' recovery comes soon. I've owned quite a few rats in my time and despite people's misconceptions, they're quite smart and affectionate creatures. But although Oz isn't with...

    Who here loves DC comics?

DC's best stuff is on the Vertigo imprint, in my opinion. Right now I'm reading Transmetropolitan and although there's a lot of words I can use to describe a comic with drug-using appliances and two-headed smoking cats, conservative isn't anywhere on the list.

The last movie you watched... and score out of ten - Part 1

Seven Samurai - 10/10 I don't know if there's anything about this movie that has not already been said. This was the movie that showed the world Akira Kurosawa was one of the best directors in history. Takashi Shimura and Toshiro Mifune shine among a slew of perfect performances and the...

The last movie you watched... and score out of ten - Part 1

The Warriors - 8/10 I actually wrote this one off for the longest time as just another cheesy-looking movie. After watching it, I can truthfully say while you probably won't be blown away, it's a good solid movie for anyone looking for an entertaining beat-em-up action flick.

    A game!

From what I gather on Mapquest here, you'd just go north on I-5 until you hit the border, then take Highway 1 through Merritt and Kelowna to Summerland. Hope that helps matters (I'm not very good with directions, even with Mapquest).
