    Fat Harassment at Burger King

A similar thing happened to a friend of mine and his Uncle did /not/ stop until the person got fired (in that case is was an employee in a hardware store). It would have been bad enough if it was just her, but amplifying it to the whole store is unacceptable. We remain the only group which...

    I'm new to Texas!

OMGosh I was /thrilled/ when they opened an Aldi store in Mesquite this spring! I have to stop there every time I come into the city . . . and the package store too, as I live in a "dry county". Texas /is/ like a whole other country!

Hey, Misty! Give me the details. I'd love to meet up with some other Dimming Texans. I've just been here for a year or so and and still settling into east Texas - about 90 minutes east of DFW metroplex. Oh, and add me to the Thai or Indian food list minotiry. Lol!!

    A Lost Generation?

I agree to some extent, but as a former "kid" with two liberal arts degrees, I still value that education. It broadened my understanding of the world. It taught me how to express myself. It introduced me to people I would have never likely encountered otherwise. While these may not be...

"All the nice girls love a bastard!"

I've seen some women get with an abuser, on the "rebound" from a "neglectful" boyfriend/husband. The ironic thing is that, IMHO, neglect is just passive abuse. Sometimes when you're too close to it, it does not appear that way.

Uh . . . this time of year, I'm SWEATING, and sweating, and sweating!!!!! Seriously, I just needed a change; my family had been in Indiana since the early 1800s!! I moved here for a job, that fell through, so I started my own little biz. I really do LOVE it here. If you ever get tired of...
