    Pig Candy

She said she's using parchment, not paper towels. Parchment is very heat resistant and is intended for use in the oven at high heats. :)

    Fun with Nails!

Yes, that is typical and should go away as your nails get used to the process. I had the same for both acrylics and gels, although in my case acrylics hurt more I think because they were over-filed so my nail bed was too thin. Oh, the things we do for pretty nails! haha

    Sleep

Thanks, BBB. The first night at 100mg, I slept three hours, woke up, but then slept another three hours. So I felt like that was a big improvement. But last night, I only slept 4 hours. Tossed and turned for half an hour then gave up and got up. sigh. Hmmm...I'm not sure why your doc...

    Sleep

I spoke with my med management doc this morning. He doubled my dose of the trazodone (so 100 mgs) and said if that doesn't work, it's still within safe parameters for me to add another 50 mg the following night. If THAT doesn't work, then we'll try a different med. Keeping my fingers crossed...

It looks adorable!! Be sure to report back to us on the fit/quality (these things can change, as we all know!) and post a pic!

    I Am Struggling With Depression

I know it is hard when you are in a down swing, but a change or increase for your current meds may really be what you need to find that peace. Remember this is a disease, a disease that affects your emotions, thoughts, abilities....it is so easy to internalize those things and feel like you...

Bought another bag of these today. Now I'm starting to think I should've bought the entire stock of them, there were only a few bags left. :( However, I DID find two references to them on the google! One was my OP about it...hahahaha and the other was an ebay sale for them which had an...

Holy Crap, those are AMAZING!!!! Terrific find and I wish they ran larger, I'd wear those suckers every day.

    Sleep

I think I need to declare the trazadone a failure. I went to bed at 1am last night and was wide awake at 3:30. I'm going to call my doc and see if we should up the dosage or move on to something different. Thanks for all the suggestions. Ashley, I feel for ya. It's tough not having a regular...

    Sleep

That's the same dosage I'm on. I can't take OTC sleep meds because they have the opposite effect on me -- I get stimulated and can't fall to sleep. My doc said some people are just like that (lucky me). He also told me that OTC sleep meds are just benadryl repackaged, which I found interesting...

    Fun with Nails!

I'm a DIY kind of gal (plus there weren't any local salons offering gel nails at the time) so I bought a starter kit and UV drying lamp from Sally's to start off. This is what I bought...

    Sleep

I'm an avid napper (always have been) but I find I feel most rested if I can get a straight 8 to 10 hours of sleep at night. I'm one of those people who needs 10 hours of sleep a night, been that way all my life. (If it's 8, I make it up with a 2 hour nap.) I don't think I'm quite there yet...

Close, but no cigar! Those are chocolate covered grahams; the candies I bought are little foil-wrapped squares. They are part of the Promises line of Dove chocolates (with "inspirational" sayings printed on the inside of the foils).

Just picked these up at Walmart yesterday and they are DELISH. Dove Promises - Cinnamon Graham Cookies in Milk Chocolate. It's little cookie crumbles in creamy milk chocolate, so it's crunchy and smooth at the same time. Oddly, there is nothing about them on the Dove website or anywhere on the...

    Sleep

Hmm, another vote for Ambien CR. I will definitely have to talk to my doc about that one if this med doesn't work out. It's still just making me "dozey" after 4 hours of sleep -- so not a restful sleep. I'm going to try like the devil not to take a nap today to see if that helps tonight.

    Sleep

I'm considering it -- we'll see after I've given this med a chance. I really REALLY hate the idea of sleeping anywhere but in my own bed since I'm an extremely conditioned sleeper (have to have sheets/blankets/pillows JUST SO or I can't sleep). I'm also a nighttime tosser/turner like you...

    Sleep

I'll ask my doc about both after I give the Trazadone a fair run. I've been on regular release Xanax for anxiety and used it to fall to sleep when I went through a brief period of having panic attacks shortly after going to bed. I've had Xanax prescribed on an "as needed" basis for a few years...
