    Lane Bryant - Loop 18

hahahaha...Ashley, you would probably rock a butterfly brooch! I have a strong aversion to brooches because I used to work next to a lady that wore a different (and usually extraordinarily ugly, imo) brooch every day. She just waited and waited and waited all day long for someone to comment on...

What the F is up with the flutter vests? Is that in style now? It looks like something my great-great-aunt would've given me when I was 15 because she thought it was "youthful looking". All it needs is a giant butterfly brooch.

    Why not deport the illegals?

It certainly will be interesting to see what happens in Arizona. I think this article hits the nail on the head: http://articles.latimes.com/2010/jul/22/nation/la-na-immigration-phoenix-20100723 What most anti-immigration folks don't consider is that illegal immigrants don't live on a one-way...

    The Restaurant Meal PICS Thread!

That all looks delish! sigh. I love me some indian food. I need to make a pea, potato and cauliflower curry, it's been too long. I'll just have to wait until the kids are out of the house so I don't have to deal with "What is that SMELL?" and "Ewwwww, it looks like you're eating throw-up."...

    Super-sized underpants

Breezies is a brand that goes up to size 15 - they are cotton with a I-don't-know-what-it-is-made-of panel that wicks away moisture. I mention them because a lot of undies really irritate my inside thigh crease, particularly those with exposed elastic but even some with cotton covered elastic...

Picked up a box of these today...better than your average Twinkie, but not as full of strawberry flavor as I'd hoped.

Latest Food Discoveries - Share them here!

Picked these up in the natural foods section of my grocery store yesterday. They are a nice change from Wasabi peas. Very chili-pepper-y and crunchy! http://www.bhuja.com.au/products/spicy-peas.php

What do Christov and joswitch think of Across The Pond?

I think the call center opened. OP has been quiet these last few hours. I hope the "ALL UR CARTS ARE BELONG TO ME" girl is working today. That'd be awesome! Also, $44.

Shit. You mean Bill Gates really WAS going to send me a million dollars if I forwarded that email to ten friends? Freakin' Liberals, always ruining a good thing.

    What's Weird About You?

When I used to travel, I'd always bring cash because it helped me control my expenses. but I'd get paranoid about having cash on me, so I'd divide it up and hide it in different places on my person or in my carry on luggage. I once found $200 hidden inside one of my makeup bags months after the...

News: Universal Muggles Too Pudgy for Harry Potter Ride

Unfortunately, Universal Studios is not anywhere NEAR as fat friendly as Disney. Which is part of the reason that I <3 Disney. Any time my kids and I went to I of A on a trip to Disney, I brought a book with me because I knew I'd be sitting on the sidelines for most of the trip. There ARE...

Recent Picture of You Part X !!!!!!!!!!! :D

Oh, Man! I'd be SO in if it was a top. Unfortunately, I'm not a dress kinda gal...I always feel awkward and uncomfortable in them. I think that's leftover from my tomboy days and being constantly told that I wasn't sitting "like a lady" in my Sunday dresses. LOL Thank you!

Very cute, Micara! Is that a tank top or a halter? I really like it!

Recent Picture of You Part X !!!!!!!!!!! :D

Thank you, sir! I did wipe it off, twice, and still had the same issue - I didn't use a cleaner, so maybe it just needs some tough love. Thanks, ladies! Ditzy, these took some getting used to, but now I do like them. I did buy a second pair that were standard black (similar...

    What did you buy today?

Oh! That's gorgeous on you! I wish I could find a maxi dress that would be maxi on me. Unfortunately because of my height, they'd be knee high or mid-calf at best.

Recent Picture of You Part X !!!!!!!!!!! :D

Just took these with my webcam. So, yes, they are of craptastic quality! I was trying to get a decentish pic of my hair, which I had in foam curlers overnight, to show a couple of friends the results. As you can tell, the curls didn't take very well. LOL My hair is super stubborn. Oh, also...

I've seen these and one other of the Hott brand...haven't tried them yet, but boy oh boy, do I love their packaging. It's brilliant.

    Nuts!

I think cashews are my favorite nut to have in savory foods. I LOVE Cashew Chicken and I make a thai red curry that has ground cashews in it. It's delish. I also like peanuts in food. Pad thai topping that list.
