    What's happening in your yard/garden?

I love lilies. What kind did you plant? Can't wait to see pics. =)

    What's happening in your yard/garden?

Even though the temp may (and probably will) drop off again at any time, there are junebugs (aka puppy playthings) and mosquitoes everywhere, and I've been sleeping with open windows for the past week, so I'm officially declaring it summer here. =) There are new plants blooming, so I took more...

    the unofficial Doctor who thread

I'm so impatient for everyone to be caught up to the mid-season break. I will say, however, that the last ep was fab, even though I completely knew what was coming, and I can't wait to see how the back half plays out. =)

An enormous mystery package showed up today, and it turns out I won a recycling bin in a Target contest. It was such an absurd surprise, I couldn't stop laughing, but I'm a recycling freak, so yay! for me. =)

I watched the prequel, but I'm avoiding any other trailers or information. I have a pretty good idea where everything is headed, though, so I'm completely geeked. =)

    What's happening in your yard/garden?

Maybe it's a spot to have one of those metal fire pit bowls or a mini bonfire? You'll have to post another pic when it's all sorted. =)

    What's happening in your yard/garden?

I completely lucked out since there are already so many fab plants here. I'm really excited for the lilacs to be in full bloom, and there's an entire patch of lily of the valley just out the back door. Yay! And we've had piles of rain here, too, but we also had our last freeze not even a week...

You had to know anything directly following (and, really, preceding) Gaiman's ep was going to be a letdown. But still, a so-so Who ep is better than none at all. =)

Pedal Bicyles / Trikes / optionally electric assisted for supersized folks...

I'd been looking at a couple of seats in that style on Amazon, and I should probably just pull the trigger on one of them and see if it works. I can always worry about the rest after. Thanks for the advice. =)

    Perceptions of Big women

As I said, people dear to me are very into fashion -- I even have an aunt that used to be a clothing model -- and they place value in being particular about how they look, and I'm glad they're doing something they enjoy and find worthwhile. If you feel the same, that's perfectly fine for you...

    Perceptions of Big women

For me appearance just isn't a priority; my time, energy and money are better spent elsewhere. I'm sure it surprises some people when I show up, say to an opera premier, sporting whatever I happen to be wearing that day, but I'm not willing to compromise who I am just to suit other people's...

Pedal Bicyles / Trikes / optionally electric assisted for supersized folks...

I'm in the middle of fixing up my grandma's old Schwinn trike (the fun things that can be found in attics) for cycling to the local market, but it's been ages since I've had a bicycle, so I'm sure I'll have to get a much more comfortable saddle. Any suggestions?
