The One NON-DIMS RELATED Thing Annoying You Most Right Now Part Trois.

It seems as if the university bus service for town doesn't actively go to my campus...the university bus service, specifically designed to hit all the campuses. Which means, I have to go from Gloucester to Cheltenham town centre and either walk 20 minutes to FCH (not cool because of the squeeze...

Ten Things I *blank* About You...

    1. I miss you everyday, you have no idea. The world turned a little bit grey when you went away. 2. You are amazing, I'm surprised you don't know it. Maybe you will soon. 3. Sometimes, I can't stand you. STFU! 4. I sort of knew what I was doing. You can call me a home-wrecker, it's justified...

What Are You Happy About Today? Part 2

Happy because: 1) I had a very nice early birthday surprise from my friend Roxie, which was lovely. She took me to Westonbirt National Park which was just up my alley. It was so pretty and we just strolled along, drinking lemonade and generally basking in the nicest day England has had all...

    Schadenfreude:What's Yours

When young skaters crash and burn on the street trying to do some complex move. I shouldn't laugh because they are just kids but they do something with their feet, it fails, and they fall on the ground and pick themselves up, look around to see if anyone caught them not being cool and walk...

    Name that food!

Hmmm... Huevos Rancheros A bowl of Strawberries marinated in balsamic vinegar with a bit of freshly chopped mint Spicy jalapeno corn flapjacks 1 giant Mimosa Called, quite obviously really: Breakfast at Tiffani's (yeah, my name's spelled differently. BEAT THAT Audrey Hepburn)

What was your absolute makeup blunder?

Well, not exactly makeup but still cosmetic. My freshman year of college I decided I wanted big dark blue chunks in my hair (still in the punk stage) and so I thought if I bleached sections of my hair, and then dyed it blue, it would be alright...only I dyed it blue immediately after...

    September Iron Foodie Challenge

Ahh, my favorite month, September :) Apples huh? Well it just so happens I made a new recipe last week with apples. The measurements are by US standards for those in UK/Europe. The Vermont (it's a sandwich) Makes probably a dozen sandwiches. Ingredients: Fabulous roast pork, pulled (recipe...

oy, it's letters to people and things, part deuce!

Dear Roxie, Hun, I love you. I really do. You've got a heart of gold and you're smart and always interesting to talk to. But you need to learn that you're not always right, that not everyone will want to hear your loud and often inappropriate opinions which are based on superficial appearances...

The brokeass eating thread! (No ramen allowed.)

Yeah, that too, its very sexy when a man knows how to handle himself in the kitchen. However, I also like the way Adam Richman on Man vs. Food talks about food...its like he's mention this ultra sensuous woman he wants to devour. I just want to have him over to taste my food and do that...

What book are you reading right now?

I started re-reading The Birth of Venus . It's very historical, centering on the era of the Medici Rule in Florence. It's well told, historically accurate and graphic in some places. The best books always are. :)

Chubby Chasers versus the Fat Admirer

I feel the same way as the women on the show, so it does, to some extent reflect the feelings of actual society.

We don't have enough threads about racism

Wow it must be awesome being omniscient. To know there is no gray area in law, and that motivations, environmental circumstance, mental health or anything else including racial hatred makes no difference to why a crime is committed or how people, both victims or offenders, should be handled...

    Post your Playlist!

'S aight. I'm only received my BSc last year. Just finished a Post-graduate Degree, and now starting my MSc...I'll be 29 in a week. Never too old to go back to school...whatever people might say, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. :)

    Pizza Toppings

I like 'classy' pizza toppings ( I don't call it classy, but my friends say it's gourmet..whatevs) 1) basil pesto 2) Roasted red & yellow peppers 4) Salumi (salami) 5) Chunky spicy red sauce (arrabbiata) 6) fresh buffalo mozzerella (or other fresh mozzerella) 7) grilled portabello...

Chubby Chasers versus the Fat Admirer

Yes, that indeed was the most important bit of the message I posted...thank you, Captain Spell Checker :p But, actually...now that you mention it...I've always heard it said S-W-A-R-M-Y from friends and family... You're sure its smarmy? *goes to check urban dictionary* A ha...

    2011-2012 NHL Thread

The Washington Capitals are my team (gotta be loyal to the local). I'm not sure how they're looking this year... Backstrom is training with a new personal coach, and there seems to be a stance they are taking as a team, it's much more serious this year, which is good. I think the deaths of the...

Chubby Chasers versus the Fat Admirer

I absolutely hate the phrase Chubby chaser...it makes me think of some swarmy ambulance chasing lawyer. He's just laying ground until some unfortunate BBW strolls by looking sad and helpless and in need of a self-esteem boost, and said swarmy guy goes slinking after her hoping to cash in on...
