    The daily exercise report thread!!

30 mins. of Shapely Girl I have big problems with most workouts. Due to lack of coordination, I have trouble keeping up with the moves. For most people, these moves wouldn't be difficult but for me, I had to modify things. Otherwise, I think this is a pretty good workout for larger bodies...

    Weight Loss Surgery/Higher suicide Rate

is it possible due to decreased caloric intake. if you weigh near 400 lbs and have wls and can only eat 700-900 calories (at first), that's a major defiecit. As I understand, you can increase calories as you go along but I don't know how that doesn't send a lot people into a tailspin. but others...

    August Iron Foodee Challenge

curious, what kind of cabbage do you use? it sounds like a tasty dish.

    Perfume

nope, boudoir uses aldehydes as a top note and I love it! although at this point, I'm sick of it. I believe arpege has aldehydes in it as well and I like that scent as well. I guess chanel no.5 really doesn't grab me. maybe I'll stop by sephora and give it one more try. forgot to mention...

    Clothing/Fashion Confession

My sister just gave me a few tanks from old navy, not the rib knitted ones, these had some pleating on the front. now she has a large difference between her top and bottom and a much smaller ribcage than me, even if we both weighed the same amount. anyway, the tanks were way too big on top and...

    The daily exercise report thread!!

30 minutes of leslie sansone dvd that came with a packaged resistance band. did the regular mile, then the one with the band. not sure if the resistance band does anything? has anyone else used them before? maybe I don't have the proper form or technique?

    Clothing/Fashion Confession

looked at the xxl maternity items at old navy the other day but it was too hot to try things on. anyone have luck with their maternity line? holding it up, it looks like it would technically fit me, but I hate the feeling that I'm bursting at the seams. also didn't want to disappoint myself.

The Heavy Duty Hardware and Construction thread...

I broke a daybed from gothic cabinet back in March. Slept one night in it, and as I got up from my sleep, the whole thing collapsed underneath me. I wish I thought of it back then! I didn't exactly need the trundle part. I need a new bed soon, so I need to ask a question about the bed you...

Everyday Food Pics - Part II - keep snapping!! :D

have you tried making mashed cauliflower? it's actually not terrible and vegetable haters will eat it. I used to add cream cheese, margarine and roasted pepper and a hardy dash of salt & pepper. don't even need to bother with fresh, just save yourself the trouble and buy the frozen kind.

    Birth Control

*major necro post bump* I'm confused as what kind I should use. Several years ago, I tried lo-estrin but had to discontinue usage due to it messing with my emotional state, i.e. perma-pms. I already have issues with anxiety and don't need something that would increase it. I also feel I'm at...

    What's your latest kick?

sunshine burgers but at nearly for $4 for only 3 in a box, that kick is over. It's one of the better brand of veggie burgers I've tried in recent times. and spumoni, but it's not fair to dig out the good parts (cherry&pistachio!) and leave behind the chocolate, but I've been known to do that.

Positives of being fat, that you were surprised to realize

I hated it when I was younger, but it allowed me to be a degenerate underaged gambler and buy lotto tickets at 17. No one ever carded me and I was able to buy all the scratch-offs I wanted to my heart's content. weeee.

Positives of being fat, that you were surprised to realize

I call that ''fullbacking''. On crowded city streets, people don't move for you. I can use my size to plow my way through the sea of people. I imagine someone really petite would have a hard time doing this and would get caught in the crush.

This Just In: "Why Exercise Won't Make You Thin"

I read this article last Friday and it really irritated me. It does bring up the other benefits of exercise, but in a very cursory manner. I don't like the brush off exercise is given, as if weight loss is the only worthy goal. Hasn't there been study after study lately that it's even more...

    Perfume

    "I'm Against Feederism" Rant

off the original topic, but if you ever had to deal with something similar personally as with the above, you wouldn't be so rah rah either. It's called narcissism and it works great at pushing away anything and anyone from your life. end of ot rant.
