    "I'm Against Feederism" Rant

nevermind, didn't start an entire brouhaha.

    "I'm Against Feederism" Rant

so why are people with children into this lifestyle demonized. I don't see the same people posting in this thread, at least not all of them, coming to their defense. what's good for the goose is good for the gander. again, this thread is filled with hypocrites and people who like to fight for...

    "I'm Against Feederism" Rant

Why do people act as if their kink is their sexual orientation. I don't see why they feel like they can't control it. Two different things, in my opinion. Also, I don't understand on this board the way feederism works. There is a lot of ageism at play. The only ones who are allowed to be into...

    skirts

Re/Dress is just a bridge ride away for me, just been too lazy to get out there. While I'm glad the sales staff seems so friendly, I hate when salespeople help you too much, I'm much more a solitary shopper, even when I'm with people I'm close with.

need help finding particular size acceptance book, don't remember title.

no not that one either, I've read all three. I do remember a particular passage from the book I read, the author goes on and on about retirement homes and how they're a living death for the occupants. Even though the book was packaged as a fat acceptance title, it was more about ageism & women.

weight limits for six flags theme park/waterpark nj?

I trouble with a lot of the rides at Great Adventures when I was last around this size (330 or so). I'm a lot more narrow on bottom, but had trouble with seat belts/bars across my lap. I haven't been there in years, so things probably have changed quite a bit.

need help finding particular size acceptance book, don't remember title.

thanks ladies, but it isn't either of those. It was more recently published, in the early 2000's.

    skirts

I suppose every aspect of fat fashion is discussed on this board, so let's talk about skirts. This is also an excuse to start a thread and ask advice. I wear dresses often and got down pat what style is flattering on me. But I'm a bit stuck on skirts. I own two, one is very short, an inch...

What Are You EATING right now?

whole foods sells individually wrapped chocolate crepes. and that's what I'm eating. can I say that the staff is extremely uptight at the White Plains location. Well, they are. but that's also off topic.

    The daily exercise report thread!!

tony- I'm going to buy the shapely girl dvds soon. I tried to see what netflix streaming has in the way of workouts, but they are way too advanced for me. Jillian Michaels is one scary bitch! But got back into the Leslie Sansone groove but you know you need to shake things up. keep on...

need help finding particular size acceptance book, don't remember title.

I read it several years ago, I found it at my undergrad college library (rock on!). It was written by an older woman and the gist of the book was size acceptance, but also wrote a lot about ageism and fat discrimination. For the life of me, I can't remember the author or title and have done...

    Makeup Tips and Ideas!

thanks, already looked at nyx and couldn't find anything close. I found a cheap dupe for Russian Red, so maybe this time I need to suck it up, accept reality that no cheap version exists and buy a new tube of Chili. And,from the looks of photos, ample pink looks similar to lust. I already...

    Makeup Tips and Ideas!

so I lost my favorite lipstick and am now looking for a cheap replacement. It was 'chili' by MAC. It's hard to describe the color, sort of the hue of paprika, a browned down red-orange. I asked about a dupe on MUA but no can do. Also found something close at a local makeup store, but it didn't...

Everyday Food Pics - Part II - keep snapping!! :D

I prefer it sitting in the fridge for a few hours. the cucumbers really absorb the vinegar yet they still retain that refreshing crunch. I used English style cucumber (they're really long, shrink-wrapped, tend not to have many seeds) but prefer kirby cucumbers, they're much more flavorful. it's...

Everyday Food Pics - Part II - keep snapping!! :D

I previously made this particular tofu recipe about a year ago but never made it until now because of the mushrooms. Now I love mushrooms, but their flavor doesn't blend well with a slightly sweet peanut sauce. I replaced them with carrots and bingo, a winner. Also didn't want to run out and buy...

    You're too small.

I always wondered if this line of thinking is a backhanded compliment. think about it, we're so conditioned to be sensitive about our size and other body image issues, maybe by saying ''you're too small'', it's a way of trying to endear yourself to the woman in question. unflattering...

    What did you buy today?

Winters aren't like New England winters. Last winter, there were very cold days, but it was bearable. for the 2009/2010 season, El Nino has returned which will help to moderate the temperature in the Northeast. It's supposed to be milder. The ocean here also to keep from from temperature...
