    Corn on the cob

I had crawdads for the first time a few weeks back while near Baton Rouge. One of the side items that came with it was corn on the cob. I didn't ask, but I assume that its boiled in the same pot as the crawdads. The corn was definitely spicy and quite good!!! I should have got a recipe or...

    ISO Lobster Rolls!

I have to agree with Leesa, Asshley. I've been all over the US and really only seen them in New England. Ever see a McLobster Roll? I did. I never had one, but I saw it.

    Regional Specialties?

AC4400CW, I went to that burger place you mentioned. The line was long. Service was slow. Staff was busy goofing off. After 10 minutes I left and went to Wendy's instead. I was happy to see that there was an s-bux in town so I could get my morning started with strong a cup. When I...

    Giving up smoking.... and struggling

Keep trying to quit. It will be worth it when you do for good. For me, it has been 13 months. Yes, I'm fatter, but I feel better and I don't stink like I did before.

    Regional Specialties?

AC4400CW, Evanston is where I'm staying. I'll be sure to give Wally's a try. I'll also look for fry sauce. Greatly appreciated. Vince

    Regional Specialties?

For SW Wyoming (next week's trip) I don't have one yet. For the rest of North America, I'd have to say my favorite regional thing is fisht tacos from southern California. I eat them daily when I'm there. I try to get them for lunch along with a Sangria grape soda.

    Regional Specialties?

I'm not sure if I know what scrapple is, but believe me, I live in western PA (across the border from eastern OH) and there are A LOT of places to get some good grub :) I bet if you searched around you'd find scrapple within an hour's drive.

    Regional Specialties?

Brave? Not quite. Just a lightweight (not physically, but when it comes to beer it doesn't take much) LOL.

    Regional Specialties?

I've eat lots of animal "parts", but I don't know if I could mentally stomach Rocky Mountain Oysters. Maybe if they followed a 6-pack, but not alone for sure.

    Regional Specialties?

I've been traveling for my job for 10 years. Every place has something they are known for or some type of specialty food item. You know what I mean. Ask at the lobby of the hotel and they can tell you about the area. I'm off to the SW portion of WY soon (2 hours outside SLC). Any idea what...

    What's your Comfort Food?

Specifically, I like a good slab of beef...preferably a brisket...slightly rare...dripping with juices...add a few broiled potatoes with it for garnish. At times like that I wish I had a second row of teeth to chew more.

    Fat Hating Walmart Cashier

Don't let it bother you Flipper. I've run into morons and jackasses like her in all types of stores from dollar stores to high-end stores. Lots of us have I'm sure. I dress really, really casual on weekends and rarely shave (except for church). I wear t-shirts and other clothes that are a...

    Naughty and Nicer:)

LOL @ some just won't go away. I can relate to some of that. Well, since last we spoke I quit smoking and put on a few lbs of my own. I'm still traveling like a gypsy so that hasn't changed. Have you noticed how airline seats seem to be shrinking? Vinny

Anyone been with dimensions for 10+ years? What has Dims done for you?

Been here long time. Dimensions was the first website that helped me realize that I wasn't nutz for being attracted to BBW's. Later, it made me realize that there are women in the world that find fat men attractive which made me realize that, again, I wasn't too far gone crazy for being happy...

Hey guys, do you ever feel expectation to eat more?

My mom always tells me in her broken Italian accent that I'm getting too fat as she shovels a third or fourth serving to me. Grazi Mama!!! LOL

    Primanti's Sandwich

I like the location in the strip the best. I've not been to the Moon Twp. location yet. I used to go to the one at Market Square when I worked dahntahn. My favorite? Can't say. Liked everyone I ever had. The old ladies in da strip district sometimes sell homemade baclava...so keep your...

    Giving up smoking.... and struggling

I've been smoke-free since I quit in January. The first 3 weeks were the worse. I paced a lot and my oral fixation was rough. I"m sure that attributed to my expanded girth. But hey, my doctor said "we'll worry about the weight later - smoking is much worse for you than being overweight". I...
