How old is too old for president?

We went over this Reagan-delusion myth, and you still insist on its factuality? What about Woodrow Wilson & FDR, two progressive Presidents with actual, verifiable, inhibited physical & mental functioning during pivotal points in their Presidency? You don't seem to care whether they're...

Would the West Coast be Better Off Without the Rest of the USA?

Treason on whom? The states themselves were commiting treason by seceding...it's not really a matter of who's-case-is-more-valid at that point, but who can bludgeon the other hardest. You didn't expect the Union to just let Confederate material goods just walk away upon Lincoln's election, did...

    Electability of the Donald

I don't really presume to understand Donald's character, considering I refuse to vote for him as well...unless it were against Obama's even sketchier character. Like a really poorly cloned McCain, it would be a lesser-than-two-evils contest...but I hope the Republican primaries will select a...

In 12 Years, Income For Richest 400 Americans Quadruples, Tax Rate Nearly Halved

Do people that agree with your posts not understand what class warfare is? We get it: people are rich after Obama "caved" on extending the bipartisan tax cuts in the Bush era. But even if we confiscate their wealth to pay the bills, does that solve our economy's or our govt's problems? Of course...

    Electability of the Donald

Good for him (aside from the sizeist remark), I can't stand Rosie's poison on daytime TV.

Pres. Obama ... the Bush 3rd term?

I really hope so, or better yet, I wish Obama would face a significant primary challenger, if Liberals are really bleeding hearts for people overseas and not just domestically on his sausage-factory Healthcare law. If you like the "leadership" "Obama" (and by that, I really mean Pelosi & Reid...

    Electability of the Donald

Getting elected by your deep-red Texan constituency is a far cry from courting voters nationwide with various circumstances. Ron Paul doesn't fly on a national level yet.

Pres. Obama ... the Bush 3rd term?

It's like this: Bush was bad, but not too bad, just certain aspects of his foreign & economic policy. Obama takes all the aspects conservative Republicans despised about Bush with half-justified interventions (Libya), bailouts (institutionalized the practice), Gitmo detainees (still in...

Stunner: S&P Revises US outlook to NEGATIVE

NO. America was always a "Stable" country (at least) in the eyes of the S&P.

How old is too old for president?

What about to drive? Far more consequential IMO, especially in Florida.

    Electability of the Donald

He didn't actually, Trump went out of his way to debunk the rumor, taken out of context by the media (as they often do). He will make a decision on or before June 1st.

How old is too old for president?

But I meant "precede", as in James Earl Carter, Jr.

How old is too old for president?

How about if Ron Paul won President? Yeah, I know, but you guys want to talk sanity at old age...would love to see him bust up the Fed though.

Remember ex-UN weapons inspector and Iraq war critic Scott Ritter? He's a pedo.

^I understand. It wasn't an honest attempt at minimizing pedophilia in any way, but more an attempt at magnifying the scope of atrocities committed by UN personnel in modern history. So to answer the question: no, I do not. Also, the "bad habit" line was also meant in jest, to convey contagious...

French veil ban goes into effect

Or come to America, Where the secular & religious are supposed to meld together. I know we're West too, and I see why France would do it out of assimilation issues, but this measure wouldn't be necessary here. But I totally support France's ability to enact the law.

French veil ban goes into effect

Exactly. I didn't know signing onto the EU meant France selling out its sovereignty. Haven't they had to do that WAY too many times in the past?

Remember ex-UN weapons inspector and Iraq war critic Scott Ritter? He's a pedo.

Don't some of the most prolific UN employee's résumés include far worse things than pedophilia? Probably just a bad habit picked up from coworkers.

How old is too old for president?

Coolidge would make quick work of scrapping Obamanomics...I approve!

How old is too old for president?

Right. But people should be more aware or the on-going debate over Reagan's condition prior to '88, and stop taking the words of a few who were hardly around Reagan, as Gospel over the people that worked with him every day. It's not "fact" yet, but people go on like it is.

French veil ban goes into effect

They definitely to be able to look out the veil with peripheral vision intact when driving a motor vehicle. Maybe they could use the TSA scanners to capture their picture instead? Kill two birds with one stone, and still manage to step on civil liberties! :D
