    You are all diseased

Being thin and/or being healthy =/= "horrible starving death." Carry on.

    Names!!

I had a different handle and changed it, but it was "black mary" in gaelic. A trade-of-insults my cousin and I would do, where she'd called my "black mary" (as I'm Black Irish, dark haired and freckled) and she's pale a hell with red hair, thus Siobhan Ban (White Joan). Now it's "love dubh"...

Speaking of diseased, a girl in my seminar class has shingles. Who the hell gets shingles? Colonists? I looked it up - it's painful. Owie.

Treating Obesity Doesn't Reduce Health Costs

Too little and too high of anything is problematic. Eating a "low cholesterol" diet won't lead to a cerebrovascular disorder; eating a diet *too low* in such a macronutrient is problematic. These rates are determined by your age, weight, gender, and predisposing factors. Blanket and...

Just wanted to say that that episode Doctor Who with the gasmask children was CREEPY AS HELL. Nothing to add beyond that.

This article fills me with murderous rage

You don't even have the right to *not starve* in the U.S. You might argue that such a law infringes on "the pursuit of happiness," but that Constitution, not Bill of Rights. Restaurants are private property, too...

    man squashes woman to death..

Broke eighteen of her ribs by sitting on her? No way. More like, by pummeling the hell out of her. I could see him using his obviously larger body to, say, drive his knee/shin into her chest. This is like Mama Cass & The Ham Sandwich.

I might have to get rid of my kitty.

What? That's it? The OP needs to return, otherwise this saga is incomplete! It's like a Eugene O'Neill play. :(

Conversely, anyone who is pro-life will now reference themselves as "pro-coathanger," if we want to get past the euphemisms.
