On being an entrepreneur. I used to think this way as well, back when I was in college in the 80's. I come from a whole family of well educated entrepreneurs, not to mention numerous friends, classmates, etc. So, after 30 years of observation and personal experience, I've arrived at this...

Cuisine from Your Region That You Don't Like

It's pretty common here on the East coast to add sugar to potato salad...we're not talking a lot of sugar, just a touch. Another way it sneaks in is with sweet pickle relish, which has, you guessed it, sugar.

Check your ingredients...it's in almost all dressings, particularly mayonnaise based ones.

Cuisine from Your Region That You Don't Like

OK, I love New York, but why, oh why, must they deep fry most of their seafood with a thick crust of breading (unless you're in a very upscale restaurant, and sometimes even then)? Or when they say "stuffed with crabmeat", that means mostly bread with a little bit of crab. Maybe it's a west...

N.B.A. Probing Racial Remarks Tied to Clippers Owner

Exactly, there is that ethereal, but valid quality that businesses are forced to quantitate from time to time, called "good will". And the fact that ALL of Sterlings dirty laundry is now aired out in full public view, his continued involvement would definitely harm the NBA's good will. Even...

N.B.A. Probing Racial Remarks Tied to Clippers Owner

The argument is that his actions don't hurt just his franchise, they actually hurt the whole organization. For example, it'ss being floated about that many players will boycott across the league if Sterling remains. Not just Clippers players. So it's not just Sterlings business being harmed.

Christian Lobbyist Plans 'National Boycott' For Team That Drafts Michael Sam

Yup, sucks to be included in the same group as a bunch of extremists. No irony there. Seriously though...you kind of hit the nail on the head. I'd venture a guess that the majority of the population agrees with the concept of the golden rule, but yet there is a whole of lot of unkindness...

Christian Lobbyist Plans 'National Boycott' For Team That Drafts Michael Sam

Ah, ok. Yes, I understand what you're saying. I appreciate your clarification. I will respectfully disagree though. I suspect that it's a matter of perspective. I mean really, the very nature of a protest is that there are people who disagree with one and ones ideals. Otherwise there...

Christian Lobbyist Plans 'National Boycott' For Team That Drafts Michael Sam

I wish the Christians would protest against all the retail giants for the over commercialization/cheapening of their religious holiday. THAT would make sense.

Christian Lobbyist Plans 'National Boycott' For Team That Drafts Michael Sam

That is an example of double standard, except that the status of Zucotti Park is murky, being a privately owned public space, so therefore one doesn't need a government permit to be there, technically. I don't know that the Tea Party ever tried to use a space with the same legal standing.

Christian Lobbyist Plans 'National Boycott' For Team That Drafts Michael Sam

OK, so you don't mean that....but then what do you mean? Honestly, I'm trying to understand when and where Christians have been silenced in this nation of ours that allow us the freedom to practice or not practice, any religion? I've heard people say this, but I never get any concrete examples?

Ah, so you mean, socially, not legally? like the "war on christmas"?

Christian Lobbyist Plans 'National Boycott' For Team That Drafts Michael Sam

I can't recall Christians ever being stopped from protesting? Perfect example is Westboro Church....despite some restrictions in terms of geographic placement I think (like not allowed to protest directly adjacent to a funeral), they've been allowed to carry on protesting, no matter how unkind.

I hope he does...it will only serve to underline how ridiculous it is.
