Just moved up to 2XL for tee shirts and polos for more comfort and room for growth.:D But I still wear my older XL's when I want to emphasize my gains.

    Why Not Fat Acceptance

After watching the Bruce Jenner interview on his transition and some news reports of younger transgender children, I began to wonder what is the resistance to fat acceptance. In the past 35 years, even following the aids panic of the 1980's, homosexuality is now accepted by the majority of...

When/how did you notice, "Wow, I got fat?!"

I'm always reminded "Wow, I got fat!" : restaurant booths, pictures, tight clothes (doesnt upset me just reminds me of my increasing size), seeking out high calorie meals and snacks when my friends are ordering salads and the ever popular airline seat.

    Q about lower bellies.

Nice belly! Nothing to be ashamed of.:)

    new,bigger clothes!!!!

I enjoy gaining but not shopping for clothes. I'd rather spend my money on food. So, I don't wear button down shirts, preferring knit polos or tees that stretch with my increasing size. I also buy pants with the "invisible" expansion that gives about 2 inches of stretch before having to be...

    Q about lower bellies.

I adore a large lower belly. Especially when it hangs and rides back and forth on a BBWs thighs. Nothing sexier than when it peeks out under some lingerie or hangs below the hem of a short dress or skirt.

I did get a PM spam this morning advertising a dating and relationship advice web site. I hope this does not become a regular feature.

Restaurants that serve 2,000cal+ single meals

When I go out to a restaurant to eat, I go out to EAT:eat1: I can easily consume 2000 calories at McDonalds alone. At most sit down restaurants the portions are huge and rich, not counting desserts. Even a large salad with dressing and meats and cheese can be a massive amount of calories.

Size 16 Model breaks SI Swimsuit Issue

I feel it's a positive step in a very positive add. It's a size positive add in a magazine that is widely read. The ad is well done: luxurious setting, beautiful woman in a bikini and a guy falling into the pool because he can't take his eyes off of her! Personally, I would love to see her...

Describing "Fat" in a way that is decent and preserves the dignity of others

I totally agree. I will use the adjective fat to describe myself or in conversation with others about myself. I feel it gives me "ownership". I'm not ashamed of being fat. In general I won't use the term "fat" to describe another person more out of respect for that persons feelings and not...

The Artwork, Crafts and Creative Endeavors thread

Great idea for a thread. Enjoying all the creativity. I have been experimenting with the idea of "Fat as Art" using photographic and photoshop techniques.

what is the most weight you have put on in a year?

I have gained 40 lbs in the last 11 months. But my biggest gain was over the school summer vacation between 4th and 5th grade when I gained 20 lbs as shockingly recorded by the school nurse! :D

    hanging belly

I have been blessed with a double belly. My lower belly is quite soft and hangs as I gain while my upper belly is a bit firmer. But as I continue to gain, even the upper belly is getting softer. "Hang" in there with your gain and you will get results.

    best weight gain shake

Well I don't know if it is the best weight gain shake but it works for me. I make my own. It tastes better and I can eat the other ingredients for snacks. My Shake: 2+ tablespoons of peanut butter, 2+ tablespoons of strawberry preserves, 2 cups of premium high fat ice cream, chocolate syrup...
