An economic system that favored large established firms -- like the British East India Trading Company -- and marginalized smaller local companies was a major motivation of our founding fathers.

The British East India Company had the bought and paid for ear of Parliament -- Colonial business obviously didn't (i.e. no representation). So lets celebrate our founders fight against big money and see if we can revive some of their radical spirit in a meaningful way (i.e. one that celebrates the radical ideas of the founders not an idealized past that never was).
