I found this post in the cartoon thread and felt it deserved a comment. I created this new thread to do so.

This cartoon is totally inaccurate. To claim George W Bush had advanced knowledge of the attack on 911 is a myth. It is no more creditable than people that believe FDR knew about the attack on Pearl Harbor in advance or JFK knew the Berlin Wall was going to be built.

People have tried to piece together random parts to paint a picture, but they have never produced a single shred of evidence that the Bush Administration knew where the attack would take place, by what means and the exact date and time.

If such proof existed Bush would have been impeached and/or the Democrats would have used it against him in 2004.

Finally, 911 and Benghazi are as different as night and day. This cartoon refers to the events before the attack. The scandal involving Benghazi refers to the events during the attack and how the administration acted after the attack.

Remember, Richard Nixon was not impeached for the Watergate break in, but rather for the cover up afterward. The Benghazi scandal is not really about the events that lead to the attack, but how the Obama Administration responded to the attack and then tried to cover that up.
