A blast from the past, NAAFA convention

I found a copy of the October 14, 1973 NAAFA convention and banquet program. It was held on Sunday, October 14, 1973 At the Americana City Squire Motor Inn on 7th Ave in New York City. The event lasted from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.. At that time dues were $10. The speakers were Natalie Clist, Joseph Protovin, Natalie Allon – Ph.D., William J. Fabrey, Ethel Weiss – Ph.D., Rhea Barden, Richard Schotter, Eileen Lefebure, Liz Coleman, and Joyce Fabrey.

Presentations included, “the State of fat liberation today”, A fashion show, a panel discussion, some distinguished achievement awards, and some other odds and ends.
