I feel compelled to write this, although I haven't checked Dims very often recently due to being utterly busy.
Lemme take a few minutes to say this; whoever you are, wherever you are, you are not alone. Whether you are sitting home by yourself or out having a wild crazy time at the bar tonight this New Year's Eve, there are people on this earth who love you, whether you believe it or not.
2008 has been the hardest year of my life by far; my father was been in the hospital in and out for 6 months and close to death, my mother relapsing at the same time, with me raising with my three beautiful younger siblings (or as my friends joke, my "children")
It has taken me this whole year to figure out this simple thing- I am loved beyond my wildest comprehensions, and it has always been there. It just took me a while to give myself some credit and realize, "Wow... I deserve it!"
Everyone deserves love, and the people worth having in your life share it wisely without consequence.
Take a moment and realize that you are worth every single last bit of friendship and love that you have!
Hopefully, I can give whoever needs it a little "Eureka!" type of moment.
