Hey to all my kitty-loving friends.

My precious kitty Marbles who I've had for 14 years has been scratching excessantly. I bought him a flea collar but I don't think it's doing much good. I lifted him up today and looked at his old sagging little hairless belly and I saw a ton of fleas on it. I felt horrible beyond words. What he must be suffering. He even has scars on his throat because of the excess scratching and I'm realizing cat collars are a waste.

The dilemma is I don't think I can afford to buy those outrageously priced flea applications (Advantage, Frontline, etc...) on a regular basis. Aren't they like 20.00 for a couple droplets that only last a month??

I definitely plan on buying a package of them today to get the quickest remedy for poor Marbles, but I'm hoping you guys could answer these questions.

• Is there a less expensive alternative for outdoor/indoor kitties?

•If not, is there some place online I can buy this stuff at a cheaper price?

•And what is the most effective product?

Thanks very much in advance.
