Kat and I, wanting to use what money we get ahold of for home improvements this year, are staying close to home.
I was interested to see NAAFA having what looks to be a different format for their national convention: not as many days, and more concentrated to the purpose of some on-the-ground lobbying.
I like this idea. It is a format more designed for activism, which is what I think is or should be NAAFA's strength. It will be interesting to see the reports back on how it goes.
I would also hope perhaps that the next time they plan for California, the Sacramento area would be considered, perhaps to lobby at the Capitol of the most populous state, and one which is considering its own state-level health initiatives.
