Well last night was my 9 yr olds Halloween school party--I went dressed up ina costume--this is the 1rst time I'd felt like being so "crazy" since my Mom died 5yrs ago.!

I went as a witch ( hehehahhahah) in a simple outfit--long skirt, shawl, black witches hat we covered in glitter and some jewelry.
My daughter was much impressed by this occurrence-- but oh boy was I terrified to discover it had a DANCE component!:wubu:

Ok well the families were all there --the kids were rocking to a good kid music oriented dj and then it happened---the dj started playing oldies like " the theme from Ghostbusters" and Beach Boys stuff.

I was helpless-- I actually got up and started shaking my massive behind with my kid--much to her total amazement and then shock--I lasted 3 songs--but it was fun.:D

It was more dancing than Ive done in 20 years and 2 marriages and no one arrested me for the hideousness of my style of dance or size.

In the end I think I was very proud of myself--just because I finally did something just because it made me happy!
I lost my job 2 weeks ago , have no savings and frankly am in worse trouble than I can admit----but for those 2 hours yesterday I didnt care a whit!

Hurray for fun occasionally!
