A non activism story from NAAFA history.

I do remember one NAAFA Chapter party where we met at a restrant/bar someone had convinced the chapter head would be an interesting place to meet. While we were there a group that looked like it was the local chapter of Hell’s Angels walked in. Most of the group of 6 to 8 NAAFAians, with terror and panic in their eyes, promptly looked at me and said some form of, “Russell, I do not care what they say or how much fun they make of us, DO NOT DEFEND US, DO NOT RESPOND, DO NOT SAY A THING!!!! This was in the early 80’s

I wonder why they all looked at me.
