Ok, it's not FROM the Bahamas...I've been back two days. But my wife and I were on a travel assignment to the sunny locale of Nassau, for some much-needed RNR. Now I'm back, far more friendly, and ready to do battle with NYC.

We stayed at 4 resorts---3 amazing places, one dump---though it was a BIG dump---ha ha...

But wanted to address what I saw at the pool and at the beach.

The chubby or fat folks way outnumbered the thin. And some of these places cost an arm and a leg and a kidney, so there goes the "it's the poor who are getting fat" argument.

Women of all ages---20s up---in bikinis walked around with bellies poking out or even hanging over in some cases, big legs full of cellulite, big healthy butts---you know the drill. Same with men. Big bellies, slight or quite, at each place we went to.

The curious thing is, without exception, the brochures for these resorts show lean, toned men and women.
