Quite obviously Canada should join the United States instead of sitting there way up north, nose pressed against the glass and wanting to be part of things, on the outside looking in. And that will happen soon enough, though perhaps we'll give Quebec back to the French. In the meantime, good friends, don't feel left out. We still love you even though you're temporarily in that big old holding tank up there and do this weird allegiance to the Queen thing or whoever that is on the stamps. And don't feel bad that your hockey team lost to Switzerland. The Swiss are just better, no big deal. That goes for the beer as well, by the way. Taste a Haldengut or Huerlimann and you know what I mean.
