Hi guys, I wasn't sure where to post this, so I assumed the general forum was best. Please feel free to let me know if it would be more appropriate elsewhere. 
I have an overseas flight coming up in July, and am rather nervous and worried about it for oh so many reasons.. This will be my first time up in the air as well, so I basically have to base my probable experience on others of my size. (I hover around ~390lbs.)
I am personally not a fan of the body scanners they employ in airports, nor would I be a fan of the alternate intensive pat down, but as a plus-size traveler, what seems to be the better option here? I would rather prefer a pat down personally, however being so big, will they very literally have to reach under my fat rolls and such (I've got a 2 roll belly, basically)? Would it be easier (albeit MAYBE not safer health-speaking) to just go with the body scan?
Tl;dr - What has been your personal experience with airline security, especially if you're a very large traveler? Has security treated you disrespectfully before? Which security option did you opt for? If you opted for a pat down, was anything different if you were a very large passenger?
