Im totally into this show!

My parents' house is chock full of rusty, old things. Mom collects old tins, teapots, cookware, signs, frames, bottles... just about anything. Dad goes for old tools and farm equipment. While they certainly haven't reached hoarder status, every wall has something on it. Growing up, I just thought antiques were something old people collected and that my house would be clutter free. But now... I sorta love it. I've even started my own little collection of elephant things. I have a few small elephant figures, a carved wall hanging and a side table with elephants on it.

Needless to say, they've been watching American Pickers and they got me watching it too! Those guys run into some amazing finds and even the things that aren't so valuable can be cool looking. Even though they do buy things with a big profit in mind, I think the thrill of the find is what keeps them going. Seems like a sweet job!
