Steven Soderbergh the acclaimed director is directing a play based on the case called 'Tot Mom'. It opened in Sydney last month. Here is the link

First off Kudos he is giving all the money to the Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the theater is not making any money. But if you read the description and then some of the comments from the local papers hmm.. I know he is very anti-death penalty,I know they are seeking it in her case and yes it has been a media three ring circus. But if you have followed the case there is not a more worthless human than Casey Anthony (IMHO!) and I just shudder to think that some Hollywood types start taking up her cause when there are FAR more deserving people who need their 'cases' championed.
Also I find it interesting he chose to premiere it in Australia and not the US. You would think with all the media saturation that it would be a natural fit here.
