While some people are sitting outside, lighting up their grills, and eating chicken, tea partiers are fervent in having their way. They seem to be politically active and hell bent on getting what they want. Meanwhile, progressives and level headed moderates who make up the silent majority sit by and shake their heads, doing nothing.
Some people need to wake up! They are already putting their backwards policies into effect. Witness Wake county, in NC, where they are already trying to set in place 'neighborhood schools' aka re-segregation "I don't want those dirty kids to go to my school and I don't want my precious Jr. to go to their neighborhood" sniff sniff uppity sniff sniff.
Wake up! Most of these tea partiers are in their 60s, I am 27 years old and I have a long life to live. People my age have more to lose.
