From the Arkansas Arts Center website:
"Using debris and images from Hurricane Katrina, nationally known New Orleans jewelry artist Thomas Mann combines them with a wearable jewelry object and a written narrative to create a heartfelt personal documentary of the force of Katrina and the lives it disrupted."
I'm considering taking in this exhibit this weekend. I can't say that the pictures I've seen of the work are especially appealing to me asthetically, but I imagine it would be an interesting, and possibly touching, show.
