Okay, I did not break the heel off of the boot, but stepped wrong and put all my weight on the rear of the heel and the heel kind of bent forward under the flat of the foot, and is at a strange angle and not very sturdy now.

They're a cheap pair of fake leather fashion boots, but they actually fit (which is a rare thing), so I am loathe to just toss them. Anybody had any success with cheap shoes being repaired at a shoe shop?

Anybody ever had that happen with a heel? Have it just bend like that? Is there any way to reinforce it?
