All right, well, in a short version of the story, I check my bank account regularly. One reason is to make sure my funds are in tact. Another reason is to make sure that nothing "fishy" is going on.
Well, a few weeks ago, I noticed something that was debitted out of my account. I honestly thought it was just a stupid thing, and I gave it no thought whatsoever. Now, today, I checked again, and saw the same thing, another debit transaction of the exact same amount to the same place.

This is the title of the transaction (of each one). I received seven (7) of them over a seven (7) month time frame. Apparently, it's a scam that is nailing quite a few people these days. I did a little (a very little) research into it, and apparently this company, "Reservation Rewards" gets your Credit Card number from a source of purchase on teh internetz. Mine was stolen from a purchase made through Roamans.
My little search on the internetz came up with this. So, basically, they hit your account monthly, deducting the same amount every month. All you have to do is give them a call, and demand your money back, refuse the "We sent you confirmation e-mails" and such, and sure enough you will get your refund.
Feel free to discuss or just curse the bastards out.
I will be refunded my full $70.00 owed within 3 - 5 business days.
