In the good old summertime, I love to wear shorts and shortsleeves or sleeveless tops and generally flaunt my ample curves. Even after 25 years of marriage, Art & I usually hold hands when we walk. Ain't we disgusting? :smitten:

Today at one point I noticed that Art was walking a few feet away from me and I asked him why he was keeping his distance. Art said that if he didn't take my hand before I got up to speed, my arms flail about when I walk and he didn't want to get smacked. So I gave him a playful smack and I joked that vigorous arm swinging was a fat woman thing. ;)

Ya know, I think it really is! After that, I looked around and watched other people walk, and it seemed that fat people, and especially fat women, really do swing their arms more energetically than thin women. Maybe it's because my fat bounces around when I walk, so my arms swing more to help keep my balance. Has anyone else noticed this?

Come to think of it, at certain speeds when I walk fast, sometimes my fat shakes so much that it noticeably affects my balance, and I need to slow down a bit. Must be fat resonance or something?
