OK, dudes can answer too. Seems to me there are both joys and stresses that are intrinsic with being heavy for the holidays. Thought? Comments?

I think non-BBW/BHM would tend to state "friends and family" as a "like", also parties. Anything about this for you? How has it changed over the years on your road to self-acceptance?

BTW, I'm sure this has been covered before but I am insufficiently skilled with the search function here to locate prior threads. If an earlier thread could be resurrected or I could be pointed there, I'm good with that.

To be frank, I spoke with a BBW colleague the other day who was very distressed and distraught over the prospect of the parties she must attend as a professional obligation. Hoping for something comforting to share with her.

And, yes, I've encouraged her to check out Dims many times.
