Over a year to be exact.
Not sure how to post this, but I feel okay about doing.
A little over a year ago, I decided to make a fundamental change in my life.
I finally came out as being transgendered.
At 52, I realized that with few obligations to anyone but myself to be happy, it was time.
Why post this here?
Well, as male, I was 6ft 2in tall and 275.
One year into hormones, I'm still 6ft 2in tall and 274. The weight, however, has shifted around.
Nothing I didn't expect. Nothing I"m not happy with.
However, one of my most important observations is a simple fact of my existence.
I was a FA all my life.
Never understood why.
Simply accepted it as a given.
Now, I realize something.
Still a FA, I am happy in the knowledge that I am not only becoming as female as I can be, but I also love who and what I am.
Call me Shelley.
Hugs to all
