My boyfriend and I our taking ourselves to Las Vegas for the first time in a little under 2 weeks for our birthdays. We are both maaaajor foodee's, and food snobs- he's a sushi chef in a 4 star hotel, and I grew up with a restaurant critic for a dad and an Italian mother, 'nuff said.
I've been doing all kinds of research to find the best restaurants, but I'd like to get suggestions from fellow fatties. We're not really into buffets, we'll probably do one just because, but really we are looking for fine dining. I know it can get pretty damn expensive, but were definitely going to eat at at least one off the wall expensive and wonderful restaurant.
What is the best place nice place you have eaten in Vegas? And what would you recommend that isnt exactly a four star establishment, but wouldnt be placed in a food category with somewhere like TGI Fridays or some other mediocre place. We want GOOD EATS.
