We love finding cool stuff at garage sales/thrift stores/craigslist. Much or fun than shopping a Walmart or Costco. Here are two of our best finds.
This morning I was playing around on eBay while waiting for a client and noticed a pair of ADS 810 speakers listed for $550. This just about knocked me out of my chair since I had recently picked up a pair of these really really good speakers for $30 at a thrift store in Clayton CA.
My wife got a nice red leather Coach purse for $15 at a thrift store in Ventura. Apparently the staff person who priced it didn't notice it was a Coach since there are no logos on the exterior (you had to look deep into it to find the label). The store owner noticed and gritted her teeth as she rang up the purchase.
Anyone else have cool finds to share?
