It's been a little quiet here over the holidays...
So, thanks to CanCon rules we've all been subjected to a lot of good and bad "homegrown" music. Who are, in your opinion of course, the best/worst/most overrated Canadian rock bands? Feel free to make lists, or just give your thoughts...
Here are my picks, off the top of my head...these are NOT separated by genre as you can see, and I expect that many will disagree...
Best- Guess Who (With Bachman), **BTO**, Voivod, DBC, Modernettes, DOA, Subhumans, SNFU
Worst- Chilliwack, Glass Tiger, Barenaked Ladies, Poppy Family (Though it pains me to do so...
)
Most Overrated- Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo
Qualifies in all three categories- LOVERBOY!!
P.S.**I give BTO full credit, but they are played on most "classic rock" stations WAY too much!!**
