Inspired by Tina's stupendous thread, found Here, what are some extraordinary pleasures that you just cannot let be bottled up inside? I have wanted to post some things in 'Small, Satisfying Pleasures', but they were too large and grand to be considered small, or even satisfying.
That is all I can think of right now. I cannot remember many of the ones I wanted to post in her thread, but they will come.
How about you?
- Seeing a friend you have not seen in a very long time
- Spending a lot of money to get an automobile fixed that really needed it
- Receiving a card, of any kind, for any occassion
- Zoning off while playing trumpet, even if said playing time is 3 seconds
- Waking up and just feeling spectacular from a really, really well rested night
- Walking in a house that does not belong to you, bombarded by people who love to stop and talk to you, and cannot resist the temptation to stay at said family's house for a while - for whatever the occassion might be (reference to Christmas Eve family get-together)
- Knowing that the person you love and admire will always love you back
