With conservatives railing against our President nonstop its easy to forget how much has been accomplished since 2008. Too much to put in one post so I'll post in installments.
I'll start with an issue of liberty and freedom. Today a large group of people -- gays and lesbians -- enjoy the liberty and freedom previously denied them -- the right to marry the people they love. This is huge! The biggest expansion of liberty and freedom since the civil rights movement.
Thousands of people worked for decades to achieve this milestone. Our President's evolution on the issue helped smooth the path. The administration being on the side of liberty and freedom will also help implement all that flows from high court's decision.
