This story sort of "flew under the radar" since it happened about the same time (1/17/09) the large passenger plane made the emergency landing in the Hudson River. Unfortunately, the same thing happened to a med flight that was traveling in northeastern Arkansas. The patient had already been dropped off when the plane was struke by a flock of snow geese. The pilot had to make an emergency landing in a field. Luckily no people were hurt, but several geese were killed. The chopper on the other hand, sustained a great deal of damage - (I had no idea a goose could inflict so much carnage). You will be amazed at the pictures.
