Cin (saucywench, for those who don't know) took me to Carino's...one of the best places, imo, for Italian around here. So...I thought I'd make some of you drool by telling you about our dinner.
They serve toasted garlic in olive oil with warm Italian bread to dip in it...we wiped that out fast. We also had an appetizer...but we can't remember what it was called, and it's not on the menu on the website, so someone will have to fill us in...it was fresh mozzarella and tomato slices drizzled with balsamic vinegar glaze and olive oil....wonderful! For entrees, Cin ordered talapia on a bed of angel hair, and I had spicy shrimp and chicken with penne in a cream sauce. We were both stuffed, it was so good. For dessert, we both had tiramisu (Carino's makes the best I've ever had!) and coffee. Best meal I've had in a looong time!
Thank you again, Cindy!
