A friend of mine is having difficulty with a deadline and is dwelling on unproductive thoughts about her recent romantic break up. She called me (me of all people!!!) to ask for advice on how to go forward, become unblocked.
This is part of what I told her
Do a TO DO list and things may seem more manageable when the task is broken into smaller chunks.
Huge victories start with small steps.
I then feel like I am slightly closer to being able to do something that is undoable.
It is the thought that starts things for me when I feel blocked.
