Why, oh why, do bra manufacturers refuse to make *underwire* bras in 48DD?
I went to Avenue Saturday night to buy a bra. The only one I currently have is blue, which isn't great under white shirts. My dearly departed former favorite bra, which finally gave up the ghost, is the first bra I have had in years that was comfortable and I actually liked. So of course they don't make them anymore.
Anyway, the manager tells me she currently has NO bras in underwire in 48DD. As in, none of the styles she currently carries COME IN THAT SIZE. This is crazy. I am accustomed to having to buy ugly bras I don't really like, but at least I can normally find one. Now I have to actually wait until they start making some new styles.
Yes, I am aware I can buy bra extenders, but I don't want to. I simply want to be able to buy a bra in my size. Not necessarily one that looks nice. It would be great if it wasn't blue so I could actually wear white shirts, but I am not all that picky, really. Is that really so much to ask?
