Anyone else notice that when Oprah puts her stamp of approval on something it becomes the next best thing? I mean, go to certain food sites to order and they claim to be "one of Oprah's favorites". Every author published would love to have their book chosen for her book club. Each one has gone on to sell millions.
Plus remember the beef debacle? (that's how we got Dr. Phil). She made a personal statement on her show about not choosing to eat beef for some reason and all of a sudden beef sales drop. Then the beef dudes got together to sue her.
So here it is. Let's solve the Fat Bashing in this country once and for all. Let's find a way to get Oprah to promote fat acceptance and then get a petition signed and send it to her with some compelling video or something.
I mean really folks, we are quite a brainy and creative bunch. It may really be something to think about.
