Does anyone else finds this movie disturbing? I even remember sneaking and watching it when I was a child and found it disturbing! Brooke Shields was only 12 yrs. old when she made this film! How did her mom escape CPS? In "Blue Lagoon" there was a body double performing the lovemakine scenes, but still that was rather risque.
For whomever has not seen or heard of "Pretty Baby" the movie takes place in a brothel. Brooke Shields, 12 yrs. old at the time plays a prostitute, yes, prostitute, when one of her clients, a photographer I think falls in love with her. She is nude in this film and everything. I don't know how they got away with making it....
Oh, plus Brooke Shields took photos for Playboy, at the age of 10!! Yes, they were nude!!! OMG!!
But, despite her upbringing, Brooke Shields has turn out an amazing person.
