Ridiculous.
I just recently saw a commercial on television for Dove's "Campaign for Real Beauty." I was a bit hesitant to go to their website to check it out because all of the women in the commercial were stereotypically attractive women, but I went nonetheless. It's actually REALLY impressive! I'm not a woman, but it seems like a very positive and well-natured message, despite the fact that I don't see how they aim to change people's negative perceptions of themselves. The fact that they made something like this, though, is really neat. I suggest everyone give it a look:

The other neat thing is that it's done by Dove... that struck me as appropriate because Dove makes a product that all women (and men) can and do use no matter what they look like. Just a thought.
